About the Series:
Energy begins at the moment when an inner impulse turns into movement. Propelled by a rocket-like force, figures break away from cloud-like formations, rise upwards and move through a dense structure of black lines and geometric signs. This departure does not appear as an isolated act, but as a movement that multiplies, passes from one figure to another and gradually takes hold of the entire image. Related compositions connect the individual works, while changing colour worlds give each painting its own distinct atmosphere. Setting off with confidence feels different from setting off with enthusiasm, clarity, intuition, gentleness or playfulness. Colour reveals that energy is not a uniform force: it can be impulsive or cautious, purposeful or tentative. Characteristic of Narratio Graphica, a painted narrative of change and new beginnings emerges. The series asks not only where a person wishes to go, but also from which inner attitude they begin to move. Energy captures the transition from thought to action, from holding on to letting go, and from possibility to beginning.
